BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER
The Alice Paul Institute (API)
Community Partners Program was launched in June, 2006 with a
kick-off breakfast briefing at Paulsdale. Now in its third year,
the program has expanded its network of partners from just a few to more
than twenty organizations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. API’s
Community Partners have been well represented by the individuals
who joined API as volunteers and Board members. They include
representatives from Duane Morris LLP, Deloitte, Costume Gallery, PNC
Bank, Amper Politziner & Mattia, Capmark Finance Inc., and American
Water.
How can your
company get involved as a Community Partner?
Perhaps
your company can provide API the opportunity to reach out to them
by featuring our programs in your employee newsletter,
giving API’s website a link on yours or allowing API to place
brochures in your office. Volunteer opportunities at API
range from hands-on work on a special event to committee
participation to Board membership. Our Community Partners can
also rent Paulsdale seven days a week for corporate events,
wedding receptions, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, business meetings,
holiday parties, afternoon teas, and other functions.
Community Partners have also participated
as sponsors for API’s special events, fundraisers and educational
programs.
