During this full-day camp, girls learn about leadership traits and role model women who possess those traits. Then, they apply their new knowledge in hands-on activities, like self-portraiture and wood crafting.

Alice Paul Professional Leadership Institute (APPLI) is a one-week, full-day program for girls entering 9th and 10th grades in fall 2014. Participants explore a variety of fields and professions including finance, law, government, engineering, technology, and writing. Professional women present workshops and mentor the girls, both during and after the program. Morning and afternoon workshops, as well as trips to local companies and college campuses, give participants an early introduction to personal and professional growth, with a focus on college preparation, career aspirations, and personal leadership development. APPLI will encourage girls to think about their futures so they can direct their focus during high school and college.
