Girlblazers Summer Camp is a special, grant funded program that takes place in June.  API has a partnership with selected schools who bring their students to camp at Paulsdale

At the Girlblazers Summer Camp girls will learn the skills they need to become leaders in their school and community and will meet women who have blazed a trail for them.  This two-week morning camp includes a community service project, field trips, and sports and recreational activities.  The girls will have hands-on leadership experiences in group projects and individual activities.  The camp will begin with an introduction to Alice Paul and basic definitions of leadership.  Following this introduction, each camp session will contain an activity corresponding to both historic and contemporary women leaders.  The girls will take away from the camp an understanding of leadership in action and how that understanding can apply to their own lives.
