Four decades ago, our Founding Mothers envisioned a place where the legacy of a woman would shine brightly on the walls. Saving Paulsdale, Alice’s childhood home, was the first step in establishing the Institute as a vibrant community leader in advancing gender equality. 

Today, API continues to provide educational offerings to the public to emphasize the effectiveness of women leaders in our society. To recognize these contributions, we invite you to join our year-long 40th Anniversary Celebration in 2024 through a series of programs and events designed to further empower future changemakers in the quest for a more equitable world.
