2023- 2024 Registration and Payment

For the 2023 – 2024 school year GLC will be returning to all in person meetings held at Paulsdale. Please know that there is a capacity limit for how many members can participate in person, and it will be set on a first come, first served basis. Review the meeting dates and attendance policy for additional information. The meetings will run from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 PM EST. Meetings will generally be held the second week of each month unless there is a conflict. Please check the GLC calendar for meeting dates each month. In person attendance will be at Paulsdale (128 Hooton Road, Mount Laurel, NJ).

Once you submit your registration form, you will be redirected to pay either your deposit or full registration fee. No registration will be considered complete until at least the deposit has been paid. Once registration has been processed, the GLC fee is non-refundable.

Student Information

This registration will take you approximately 10 minutes to fill out. You must either pay a Deposit of $50 or the Registration Fee in full once completing this form to hold a spot for the upcoming GLC year. No registration will be considered complete until the deposit has been paid.
IMPORTANT! This must be the GLC member's email. It CANNOT be the same as your parent/guardian's email. You will receive important updates about GLC to this email address, so please use an email account that you check.
Included in registration will be a Girls Leadership Council t-shirt members can wear to different trips, like International Day of the Girl. If you have received a shirt related to the program in the past, this shirt is a different fit with a new design.

Parent/Guardian Information

This is the information for the parent/guardian of the GLC member. This is for any updates to parents regarding meetings, events, and opportunities via email. In the event there is an important deadline and your member is not responding to their email, you will receive an email.

Medical Information

This information is important in the event of a medical emergency.
Provide 2 names with phone numbers that can serve as your emergency contact. These names CANNOT be the same as the parents/guardians listed above. If they are, you will not have your spot in the program reserved until two separate emergency contacts are provided.

Personal Assessment Questions

These responses will help us get to know you better! Responses should be about a paragraph. In the event there are an overwhelming number of sign ups, we'll use these questions to determine placement in the program.

In person meetings are limited, and these are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Staff will attempt to accommodate everyone's first choice, but this may not be possible in every case.

Registration Fee

Early Bird registration (May 1 - 31) for returning members is $175. After May 31, the fee for Girls Leadership Council registration is $200. If you choose the Installment Plan or Scholarship Deposit, you must pay a $50 deposit (at the time of registration) to secure a spot in the program. Please understand that the deposit is required for all members, even those receiving financial assistance.

Demographics

Why are we asking for this? Collecting and analyzing disaggregated data by race, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual orientation, and other demographic variables makes it possible to manage, allocate, and assess resources and programs – effectively – for all communities. In addition, we are required to provide this information to the organizations who support API through grants and other funding. This data is not stored alongside any personally identifying information, and is not shared except for anonymous reporting purposes. You may decline to answer any of the questions below by selecting “prefer not to say.” Please reach out to API directly if you have any further questions.

Once you SUBMIT this form, you will be redirected to a page to pay your GLC registration fee. All members must pay at least the $50 deposit to hold their spot.
